Work in progress, develop efficiently: PDCA
The development methodology called PDCA cycle helps you work efficiently.
Meaning: Plan, Do, Check, Act
Why is this important?
PDCA helps you remember what you need to do. Its purpose is to consciously improve! If you follow the steps, you can work much more efficiently!
Meaning of the steps
Now we will show you the meaning of PDCA!
Plan - Plan what you are going to do!
Do - Make what you planned earlier!
Check - Check your work! Notice the successes and mistakes in it!
Act - Correct the errors you noticed during the checking!
When should you use these?
You can use PDCA cycles to a wide variety of work processes. It helps improve every process.
For example, we use it for building, coding, running the robot game, etc.
Specific examples of one of our preparation:
Zoli refined radar navigation
Viola improved ship insertion accuracy
Kamilla speeding up krill collection
Benji using flex pipe to prevent sticking
It is important to first consciously plan and state what you want to do and how. - PLAN
Then execute your plan, i.e. make it happen. - DO
Whether it works or not, watch carefully and notice what worked and what didn’t, and why. - CHECK
Then formulate and discuss one or two improvements that will make your round better. - ACT
🔁 Start the four-step process above again!
📝 Task:
The next time you work on something, keep the PDCA steps in mind!
